More Flood Proof!

Fossilised trees standing upright through massive layers of rock across the US are reigniting debate over whether the biblical Great Flood really happened.

Known as 'polystrate fossils,' the formations consist of ancient tree trunks that extend vertically through multiple layers of sedimentary rock, some layers believed to have formed millions of years apart.  Prominent examples have been discovered in Yellowstone National Park, Theodore Roosevelt National Park, Ginkgo Petrified Forest State Park, the eastern coal fields spanning Tennessee, Kentucky and Pennsylvania and Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument.

The Bible Makes Sense!

researchers said: 'The fossil record looks a lot more like the catastrophic world described in Genesis than the slow evolutionary timeline we’ve been sold.'  The post has sparked a debate on X, with one user saying: 'The world is not as old as "scientists” want us to believe. And the Genesis Flood was an actual event. The fossil record proves once again the accuracy of Scripture.'  While others dismissed the biblical theory, saying the fossils are not evidence of a biblical flood, but rather the result of repeated natural disasters. This statement of "repeated disasters over time" is plainly stupid because of the time needed to bury the trees before they rot away!

Desperate to Disprove?

However, even some mainstream geologists have acknowledged that polystrate fossils point to periods of extremely rapid sedimentation.

Derek Ager, an emeritus professor of geology at the University College of Swansea in the mid-to-late 20th century, argued that the upright fossilised trees could not have remained standing for the vast spans of time traditionally associated with slow sediment buildup.  In his writings, Ager noted that if sediment accumulated at a constant, gradual rate, it would have taken roughly 328,000 years to bury a 33-foot-tall tree, an idea he described as 'ridiculous' because the tree would have decayed long before burial was complete.

Common Sense Needed!

He has also argued that polystrate fossils challenge the idea that sedimentary rock layers formed slowly over millions of years. (See the Page "How Old Are Dinosaurs?" on this site!).  Pointing to fossil sites such as Joggins Fossil Cliffs, Juby claimed many upright fossilised trees show signs of rapid burial, including broken roots, upside-down trunks and compressed plant material embedded throughout multiple sediment layers.  He argued the fossils appear more consistent with a sudden catastrophic event involving enormous volumes of water and sediment than with gradual geological processes occurring over vast periods of time.

The Truth Prevails!

Conclusion:   Anyone with an ounce of common sense should be able to see that these trees being buried standing upright could only have happened very quickly, or the trees would have rotted thousands of years before being completely submerged in mud and water, which would then have needed to dry the mud at a very fast rate out of water in order to fossilise the trunks in an upright position, no other explanation makes any sense! The year of the flood mentioned in the Bible fits the facts perfectly!

Most scientists rarely admit their mistakes, hanging onto their wrongly held ideas no matter what! It takes a totally honest mind to admit you are wrong and accept the facts for what they clearly present, thankfully there are many honest scientists who see the truth and are not afraid to make it known!
